We are delighted to announce our Scholarship Program!

Sponsored by:
Public and private donors interested in lifting our community.

Writers Cubed plans to fund as many scholarships as we can obtain sponsors for in 2023! All scholarships pay in full the registration fee to TABC and On-Demand access to all classes for  one year after the conference (value $150). Applications must be accompanied by a 300-word essay written by the applicant about their goals for the future and how being a better writer will help them achieve those goals.

 

Please keep in mind that we offer two types of scholarships:

  • NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIP: Reserved only for teens with a financial need.

  • DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP: Reserved for students representing ethnic diversity.

Application submission deadline is January 20.

 

Scholarships will be awarded no later than January 25th. If you have questions regarding our need-based scholarship, please email us at contact@teenauthorbc.com.

Who should apply?

Teen candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Is between the age of 13 and 19

  • Has a strong interest in writing

  • Has a financial need OR belong to a diverse ethnic population

Application Rules: (please read!)

Essays must be no more than 300 words

  • Entries must be in English.

  • Changes can’t be made to the application after you have submitted it.

  • Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

  • Family of conference board member or WCI staff is ineligible.

1. Read the scholarship application rules listed above.
2. Submit application form by Jan 20th!
